Job Description

We're looking for a marketing generalist that specializes in content and audience marketing, specifically targeting technical audiences like developers, data engineers, data analysts, and business analysts. Experience in growing through communities is a big plus.

Our ideal marketer is able to deliver content marketing, paid acquisition, and also organic search.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Think through content strategy, distribution, and conversion to inbound leads
  • work with us + a content writer to write the pieces
  • Turn interviews and partnerships into content
  • Test various ad channels: ads, social media ads, maybe video stories
  • Organic search and backlinks, use-case based landing pages
  • Help us host webinars, potentially a data engineering conference, and other speaking events

We're looking for people with depth of knowledge in the following areas:

  • content marketing, especially for a technical audience
  • content distribution and backlinks
  • performance marketing
  • organic search and use-case based landing pages

The right fit:

  • self-starter, highly intrinsically motivated
  • independent thinker and executer - takes projects from start to finish
  • highly iterative and willing to test a lot before finding what works
  • good with unstructured tasks and sets own procedure

Eligibility

The opportunity is remote but requires the candidate to be situated in the US.
