You’ll start by setting up dbt Core and Metriql in your local environment and defining metrics as code for the dataset you’ve chosen (preferable event data).
You’ll then sync these metrics to Google Data Studio and Tableau following the instructions on the integration pages and start querying the data directly from Snowflake which is the data warehouse you’ll be using in this case.
Finally, you’ll write a blog that explains your experience using Metriql to define and sync metrics to multiple BI tools at once. You’ll also include screenshots, dashboards and reports to your blog to show others how it works.
You must have first-hand experience using dbt to transform your data inside a modern cloud data warehouse like Snowflake, BigQuery or RedShift. You must also have experience modelling data for BI tools.
